LSG vs KKR IPL 2026: Rinku Singh starred for KKR, defeating Lucknow Super Giants in the super over at Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. He scored the winning runs for his team.

While chasing a gettable target of 156 runs, the Rishabh Pant-led side suffered a batting collapse and forced to take the match towards the super over where Mohammed Shami, who batted at No.9 position smashed a last ball six during a struggling Kartik Tyagi's over, who had conceded 16 runs during the last over. 

Then Sunil Narine had bowled a brilliant super over, where he leaked just one run and took two wickets and helped the team chase an easy target.

Rinku Singh then scored the winning runs by smashing a four on the first  ball in Prince  Yadav's over. 

During the first innings, the Ajinkya Rahane-led side were reeling at 93/7 after 15 overs but Rinku had scored a match-winning knock of 83 runs off 51 balls, where he had smashed four consecutive sixes during the last over and helped the team post a respectable target of 155 runs. 

Cameron Green (34) was the other batter to score in double digits as the Kolkata-based franchise suffered yet another batting collapse as Mohsin Khan took his first five-for.

While chasing, the Rishabh Pant-led side had put up yet another disappointing performance with the bat and have suffered their fifth consecutive loss.
