JKSSB Recruitment 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the recruitment notification 2026 on August 4 for 518 posts across various UT, divisional, and district cadre posts under Advertisement No. 08 of 2026. Eligible candidates can apply for various departments, including Agriculture Production, Health and Medical Education, Higher Education, and Labour & Employment. The registration window will run from September 10 to October 9, 2026. Candidates must read the eligibility criteria for each post and accordingly apply through the JKSSB official website before the deadline.

Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria For JKSSB Recruitment 2026
Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and have a valid domicile certificate. The following table mentions education requirements for each post.

Junior Pharmacist | Class 12th with Science and a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university. |
Junior Staff Nurse | Matric or higher with Science and a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery |
Horticulture Technician Grade-IV | Class 12th with one-year Basic Horticulture training |
Junior Lab Technician | Matriculation Or Above with a 2-year Diploma in Lab Technician course or a Degree in Lab Technology |
Junior Laboratory Assistant | Science graduate. Those having a PG diploma in a professional laboratory course will get precedence. |
JKSSB Selection Process 2026
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination. The exam will have MCQ-based questions in English. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Those who clear the OMR examination will be called for the document verification process. Finally selected candidates will be recruited to particular posts for which they have applied.
