Bhooth Early Review Out: The excitement surrounding Bhooth Bangla has reached a fever pitch as the film nears its theatrical release. Reuniting superstar Akshay Kumar with director Priyadarshan, the film is being hailed as the perfect blend of spooky thrills and classic humour. Bhooth Bangla features a powerful ensemble cast, including Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. The film is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.

Ahead of the official theatrical release, early reviews have started to surface. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), giving the film a strong 4/5 rating. He highlighted the film's ability to balance its supernatural elements with emotional depth, stating, "It unfolds as a layered supernatural tale rooted in the eerie legend of Vadhusur and a village long possessed by his dark presence... #AkshayKumar delivers one of his career-best performances, effortlessly switching between sharp comic timing and intense moments."

Bhooth Bangla Day 1 Box Office Prediction

Bhooth Bangla is already showing hold at the box office even before its release. According to reports in Sacnilk, the Akshay Kumar starrer has seen a significant surge in engagement on BookMyShow, with over 5,090 tickets sold within a single 24-hour window. In terms of advance collections, the film has already grossed approximately Rs 91.5 lakh from over 34,000 tickets sold. Industry experts have noted that the film is currently outperforming other anticipated titles like Jolly LLB 3.

What To Expect From Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla Movie?

The story is set in the mysterious village of Mangalpur, a place where marriage is a taboo. The plot revolves around that any groom who dares to wed is spirited away by an ancient, evil entity known as Vadhusur. Paid previews for Bhooth Bangla will begin in theatres today, 16th April 2026, from 9 PM onwards, before the full theatrical release on April 17.
