Reflecting on his passion for stand-up, Pranit More stated, "Itni saari cheezein ho gayin. Dekho, maine standup chalu hi isliye nahi kiya tha ki paise aayenge ya famous hone ke liye. Main jo job karta tha, uske baad main standup mein aaya kyunki isse mujhe khushi milti hai. Aur humesha point ye tha ki baaki logo ko bhi khushi mile. Aur ye jab nahi hota to thoda bura to lagta hai."
The Bigg Boss 19 fame also shared advice given by his mother, stating, "Tune galti ki aur sorry bol diya. Tere behaviour se dikh jaega," adding that she told him, "Galti to sabhi karte hain. Tum me se aisa koi jisne kabhi galti nahi ki hai."
What Is Pranit More's Rs 370 Biryani Controversy?
The controversy originated from a crowd-work clip during one of Pranit's shows. An audience member claimed he spent Rs 370 on biryani for a date and felt entitled to physical intimacy in return.
Pranit’s decision to laugh along rather than call out the misogynistic remarks led to intense online criticism, official police FIRs, and an inquiry by the National Commission for Women. Pranit later issued an apology acknowledging his oversight during the show.
