What Has Happened In The Boys Season 5 So Far?

A year after the conclusion of Season 4, Season 5 took off. After installing a puppet president, Homelander has been able to expand his influence in both Vought and the nation. Butcher, on the other hand, is on the run, and MM, Frenchie, and Hughie are in a Vought-controlled 'Freedom Camp' that kept political prisoners and Starlighters.

Homelander declared war on the Boys after Starlight revealed the Flight 37 tape, and Sister Sage stoked the flames by disclosing that the Boys would be put to death in three days. Butcher made the decision to collaborate with Starlight and Kimiko in order to organise their escape, but things got out of control until A-Train displayed some peculiar heroic behaviour.

 

 

Then Butcher started his dangerous scheme to kill all the powerful supes at the mansion party by using a supervirus. Sadly, Homelander took matters into his own hands by releasing Soldier Boy, his long-lost brother, to pursue Butcher, but he omitted crucial details regarding the super-virus. Soldier Boy was one of the two super-viruses that died, causing chaos. Butcher, Starlight, and Homelander all thought Soldier Boy had passed away.
