Amravati Sex Scandal: A fresh controversy has erupted in the Amravati sexual exploitation case after a viral video surfaced showing the prime accused, 19-year-old Ayaan Ahmed, celebrating his birthday on a public road in the presence of police personnel.
The incident, which reportedly took place in Paratwada, has triggered widespread outrage and raised serious questions regarding the conduct of police personnel.
Video Shows Main Accused Celebrating Birthday With Police On Road
In the video, the prime accused, Ayaan Ahmed, is seen bursting crackers and cutting a cake on a road late at night, while wearing a T-shirt with the word "Boss" printed on it. The video also shows police personnel present at the spot, one of whom allegedly fed him cake and offered birthday wishes.
The video has sparked widespread public outrage, prompting the Amravati Police Commissioner to initiate action against the personnel involved in the conduct, Times Now reported.
Who Is Ayaan Ahmed?
According to a report by Jagran.com, Ayaan Ahmed Tanveer Ahmed, a resident of Paratwada in the Amravati district, was taken into custody on April 11 after explicit photos and videos of him with several women went viral on social media.
The accused is alleged to have recorded over 350 pornographic videos of women. The accused allegedly lured victims and captured footage against their will to defame them later online. Police have seized Ahmed's mobile phone and are examining it for evidence.
Investigating agencies are also trying to determine how many more people are involved and how widely the videos were disseminated. Local claims suggest that more than 100 girls may have been affected, with some claiming as many as 180 girls are feared victims, and around 350 videos are circulating on the internet.
