A social media influencer recently shared a video where he tested whether the journey from Delhi to Dehradun can be completed within two hours and 30 minutes or not. Recently, the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, boosting regional connectivity by linking key towns and integrating with major national corridors en route to its final destination.
In the widely circulated video called "Is the administration speaking the truth!?" The travel vlogger states in Hindi, "Let's confirm. The government has stated that the trip from Delhi to Dehradun takes only two hours and thirty minutes. "Right now, we are in Delhi, and it is precisely 11:00 AM. So let's see whether we can indeed go from Delhi to Dehradun in two hours and thirty minutes.
"So, currently we are at the 12 km long one, which is India's longest elevated wildlife forest corridor over here," the traveller says, praising the development halfway through the video.

The travel vlogger talked about several things while sharing his experience on the highway. This includes proper road maintenance for smooth driving, traffic-free stretches, and provisions for wildlife safety.
However, he also points out that Google Maps was not working while he was driving on the expressway. Additionally, there is a lack of amenities such as toilets. Finally, after driving for roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes, the vlogger is seen entering Dehradun. In a completely amused tone, he says, “I seriously can't believe it's 1:21, exactly 2 hours and 20 minutes; I have already arrived in Dehradun.”

About The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway
The Rs 12,000 crore highway project will greatly enhance regional connectivity by connecting important Uttar Pradesh towns like Baghpat, Baraut, Shamli, and Saharanpur before arriving at Dehradun. The expressway will also integrate with major national corridors, including the Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Katra, and Delhi-Meerut expressways.
The newly constructed Delhi-Dehradun Expressway reportedly features 10 interchanges, 3 road overbridges, 4 major bridges, and 12 wayside amenities.
As the corridor passes through the eco-sensitive zone of the Rajaji National Park, it also comprises a 12-km elevated wildlife corridor, two 200-metre-long elephant underpasses, and eight animal passes to enable unrestricted wildlife movement and safer crossings.
