TCS Nashik Case: In a fresh development in the TCS Nashik case, 26-year-old Nida Khan who has been portrayed as the absconding mastermind at the TCS-run BPO is currently in Mumbai, where she is expecting her first child, her family told the Hindustan Times.

They also said Khan does not work in the BPO’s human resources team, contrary to widespread claims on television and social media. According to her family, she is a telecaller in the sales team and joined the company in December 2021. “She has never been associated with the HR team,” they said, adding that several levels of senior personnel exist above her.

The whole case came to light after allegations of sexual harassment, forced religious conversion and workplace exploitation surfaced at the Nashik unit of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The complaint was filed by a 23-year-old employee who accused her senior colleague Danish Shaikh of sexual harassment and engaging in a physical relationship under the false promise of marriage.

Following a 40-day undercover investigation, nine FIRs have been registered, and multiple arrests have been made, including six team leaders and an HR official. Nida Khan has been named among the accused.
