- Mohammad Irfan's YouTube channel restored after sudden ban.
- Gained fame from CJP protest speech on NEET paper leak.
- Restoration followed appeal and support from Ajit Anjum.
Mohammad Irfan, whose speech during a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest over NEET paper leak made him a social media sensation, has regained access to his YouTube channel after it was removed by the platform.
The channel was taken down shortly after it witnessed a massive surge in followers, with Irfan claiming that the termination was likely the result of an error by YouTube’s automated system.
“My channel was completely new, and I have honestly followed all of YouTube’s guidelines. People really liked my content, which is why my subscribers increased. It seems like there was a mistake by your automatic system. Please review my channel again and restore it,” Irfan wrote in an appeal to YouTube on X.

The Delhi resident shot to fame after a video of him reciting the Preamble of the Constitution at the CJP protest went viral. During his speech, Irfan spoke about the difficulties faced by workers in the unorganised sector and raised issues related to education, healthcare and democratic rights.
His message drew widespread attention, helping his newly created YouTube channel cross tens of thousands of subscribers within a day. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also met Irfan and said his views reflected the energy and hopes of India’s youth.
Following the channel’s removal, veteran journalist Ajit Anjum backed Irfan and questioned YouTube’s decision.
“A young man named Mohammad Irfan, who lives in a slum in Delhi, started his YouTube channel just yesterday with our support. From yesterday evening until this morning, his channel gained more than 70,000 subscribers," Anjum wrote on X.

He further questioned the action, saying, “Suddenly this morning, his YouTube channel was terminated. How did a working-class young man manage to gain so many subscribers in such a short time? That in itself is an extraordinary achievement. So why did YouTube terminate his channel so abruptly?”
The suspension prompted criticism from several social media users, who demanded the restoration of Irfan’s account. At the time, YouTube displayed a notice saying the account had been terminated for “violating Google’s Terms of Service”. The platform has not issued any official clarification on the action.
After the restoration, Irfan thanked his supporters and Ajit Anjum for their efforts.
“Thanks to your prayers and the tireless efforts of Ajit Anjum sir, YouTube has restored my YouTube channel. Heartfelt thanks to everyone. When I have Allah with me and friends like you and well-wishers like Ajit Anjum sir, nothing can happen. Thank you, companions,” he said.
